The association was founded by the refugees from Chin State, the Union of Burma on February 20, 2001 in Augsburg, Germany. The seat of the association is in Frankfurt A / M. The association works for the Chin peoples in Germany, nationwide. The statutory purposes and goals of the association are as follows: • To help each other through the community spirit of the Chin people in Germany • Elevation and preservation of the Chin culture and cultural exchange with other peoples • Cooperation with other Chin communities worldwide in their fight against Human rights violations of the Chin and mutual aid on a social level • to support the Chin people by promoting humanitarian and development-related projects • to raise awareness of the situation and situation of the Chin people in Burma • cooperation with other ethnic groups from Burma and Burma -Groups in Germany and in other countries in their struggle for democracy, freedom and human rights for Burma • to establish a friendly relationship between Germans and Burmese
